The third call was published in 2017 and it was closed in 2018. It was directed to high school students, university students and professional film makers. In this edition, the festival became international with the first arrival of international films.
SELECTIONS IN COMPETITION
This year we maintained the same categories as the second edition but we added a new category: Feature Film Official Selection.
The Cecehachera Selection, the core of the festival, remained open for high school students.
The University Selection remained open for university students for the entire country.
The Official Selection remained open for professional filmmakers and film students in the country.
For the first time, we had a selection dedicated to feature films in competition even though our festival kept its focus on short cuts.
